Ayurveda is the science of life and longevity which originated in the pristine land of India around 5000 years ago. The word ‘Ayurveda’ is the combination of two root words ‘Ayu & Veda’ where ‘Ayu’ means life & ‘Veda’ means the knowledge. This is the oldest healthcare system in the world and it is a naturalistic system of medicine which combines medicine and philosophy. Ayurveda aims at preventing and curing diseases.

‘Swasthasya Swaasthya Samrakshanam Athurasya Vikara Prasamanam’

Means maintaining the Health and longevity of a Healthy Individual and To Cure the Ailment of a Diseased Person. There is a close relation between Ayurvedic science and great Indian culture. This science is upaveda of adarvaveda which has been followed since the age of Aryans and Dravidians. Ayurveda has the power of bringing an individual back into stability with their true life and being through the use of natural laws. Through ayurveda one learns ‘how to live ‘or ‘how to lead a perfect life’ or ‘how to maintain a healthy body and mind’. This treatment ensures the wellbeing of both body and mind. Ayurveda is based on the understanding that a healthy brain resides in a healthy body and vice versa.
